Blackpool Tower

Standing at an impressive 518ft 9in Blackpool Tower is guaranteed fun for the whole family. For one price you can enjoy the Circus, Ballroom, Walk of Faith, Aquarium and much more. Based on the famous Eiffel Tower, Blackpool Tower opened on 14th May 1894.

Tower Circus

The Tower Circus is one of the best in the UK. This is one show that cannot be missed. Held in the basement auditorium the Circus is a fantastic combination of talents from all over the world. Starring UK's favourite Mooky the Clown, the circus will capture the hearts of both young and old.

There is face painting available for the youngsters before the show and in the interval. There are also a wide variety of circus memorabilia available that can be bought at any of the tower shops or from the ushers before the show. For those youngsters who wish for more that mere memorabilia there is the Circus School that teaches how to juggle and spin plates.

Let us not forget to mention the spectacular finale when the circus ring drops and floods, transforming into a magical water world. Unique to this circus, it is the perfect ending for a marvellous show.

Tower Ballroom

The Blackpool Tower Ballroom is renowned for its incredible décor, including amazing ornate ceilings and beautiful dance floor. Enjoy a twirl to the fantastic organ music, courtesy of the famous Mighty Wurlitzer and 3- deck Wersi organs. The Tower Ballroom is not only for the dancers though. You can just enjoy the atmosphere and music on the side-lines.

Traditional afternoon tea is available, along with a wide selection of other snacks and beverages to enjoy in these most elegant of settings.

Originally opened in 1899, the Tower Ballroom was badly damaged by fire in 1956. After eighteen months the ballroom was re-opened identical to its original design.

Walk of Faith

A short ride in an elevator takes you to the top of the Tower. There you will take the challenge, the Walk of Faith - a glass panel in the floor, 380 feet up. Walk across to prove you have no fear. You can buy a certificate from the gift shop to prove you completed the challenge or if you chickened out. You can even post a card from the top of the Tower. If 380 feet is not high enough for you then you can take the stairs up to the top level. There are spectacular views across Blackpool and the Fylde coast. Don't forget your camera!
